For those of us who don't know the plot yet,it follows as thus;
After the destruction caused by General Zod in Man of steel,Bruce Wayne(Ben Affleck) still sees Superman as a threat to humanity after 18 months. Superman notices Batman's activities and also sees him as a threat intending to stop him via the Daily Planet as Clark Kent(Henry Cavill). Lex Luthor(Jesse Eisenberg) gets his hand kryptonite which batman steals from with the intention of weaponizing it to fight Superman. While Batman is investigating Lex Luthor he finds out about his research on metahumans which feautures the flash,aquaman and wonder woman who Bruce Wayne has met in person which leaves him confused.
Batman and superman eventually face off while Lex creates a monster from Zod's body and his DNA. This is when the super heroes realize they must work together to win. Wonder woman hears about this as she is about to leave the city and comes to join the two of them in battling this monster but he is too powerful for them. They realize that it can be destroyed by kryptonite,as superman stabs it with a kryptonite spear,the monster stabs him back with its long claws killing Superman.
Lex luthor is arrested and Batman hints on forming the Justice Leaugue while talking to wonder woman. In the end the sand on Superman's coffin begins to shake.
Why this movie did not turn out as people expected are as follows
Firstly,the talk was too much,the first one hour was spent talking which was not really necessary with scenes that seemed scattered. I felt like sleeping during this time.
Secondly, I feel the wonder woman character was weak and not really necessary. Its not like she was the heroe or heroine as the case may be at the end of the day.
Thirdly, Batman's motive wasn't strong enough for me and just made the whole movie look forced . The way he stopped himself from killing superman when he heard the name Martha didn't look original and besides why would superman call his mother by her first name.
Fourthly, casting of Lex luthor by Jesse Eisenberg in my opinion is a disaster. He just kept blabbing. Plus his motive for his role in the movie was not satisfactorily explained and Batman already wanted to fight Superman so there was no need for him.
Fifthly, Superman didn't have to be the one to carry the kryptonite spear since it affected him too,he couldn't even move the other time Lois lane had to take it away from him,oh I am just mentioning Lois Lane she was almost that insignificant in the movie. Well they had to find a way for him to die.
And oh the way Bruce Wayne was just entering areas that are supposed to be restricted in a whole Lex Corp facility. I think I should stop here.
In conclusion ,it wasn't 100% bad,the last moments were still okay to watch but don't just have much expectations before seeing the movie. If you disagree with me or there was something I forgot,let us know in the comments section below . thank you
