With less than two weeks since the series returned back on screen these law students are faced with so much mess they might not be able to handle.

Laurel confronts Frank about the bad things he says he has done. He doesn't want to say but as she leaves he tells her that he killed Laila (murder case of season 1) but she doesn't want to believe this as they all think Sam did it. She asks why and a call comes in, Frank says he has to pick the call it might be Annalise but Laurel tells him not to and concludes he did it for Annalise due to his loyalty. He picks the call anyway but he turns around and she has left.
Laurel being upset goes to see Wes, Wes received some documents from Annalise that leads him to Ohio to find clues about his mother's death and Laurel follows him to take her mind of Frank as he continues to call.
Meanwhile Philips sends a blackmail recording to Connor showing all of them at the mansion (crime scene) and asking for one million dollars sent to his account or he sends it to the police. Annalise tells them to go home and let her handle it. The next day Annalise suggests they ignore his video and call his bluff since there is no time stamp on it but things get worse as the time elapses and their celebration is cut short by another mail showing Annalise and Nate her cop boyfriend as they spend the previous night together. They all get scared at the realization that they are being stalked.
While in Ohio Wes and Laurel get intimate about their personal life and they share a brief and passionate kiss caught up in the moments of emotion. While they continue their search through court transcripts related to death of Wes' mother he concludes she was killed and Annalise knew about that's why she facilitated his admission and protected him ever since. After seeing documents that states it was suicide, Wes is disappointed and in pain but Laurel finds a document saying her 10 year old son(Wes) is major suspect for the murder case and she hides it from him.
Still in the confusion of what to do about the mail, Laurel barges in and tells Annalise rudely that she wants to speak with her. They try to explain to her what is happening but she explicitly makes it known that she doesn't care. They go into a room and Laurel confronts her about the document she found showing it to her since she was the lawyer in charge. She doesn't say anything but the look on her face depicts her fore-knowledge.
How deep does their mess go? Will it get better or we are yet to see more drama
